As the subject line says can we not have a function where we can toggle log-ins on or off? Although some of us do not wish to receive public quicknotes or take part in them generally it would be a big plus if we could choose to see who signs in or out.

As long as it's a choice so that we don't have to hear the log ins and outs I wouldn't mind this option.

Absolutely choice being the keyword. We can toggle whether to receive private quicknotes so why not using the same format can we not toggle sign-in information? Thanks for your input.

Yes! Totally agree with this suggestion.
I know this doesn't really belong here but I didn't want to create a new topic for this. The private qn thing is broken. People can still send me private qns even though I tried the option of blocking them. I can't send them but can receive them. Isn't that silly? Please get this fixed, J. and Chris! Please! Please! Please? Thank you.

I've heard they are supposedly working on that. But then we've heard that story before...

Yeah I guess I can see where this could come in handy, although I normally keep my public quicknotes on, but I still support this idea anyhow.

hm, that could be good, efven when you have publics on, you don't want to see who logs in, just see the conversation. so, that would make a good option, I mean, they have it for ZBP, so why not the regular site logins as well

I totally agree with this. i'd love to see it implemented.

I like this idea also.

Yes, i agree. It would be nice to have that option as well. And I didn't know you could see zbp users when you have publics off? Normally, i have publics on, but sometimes, it is just to see who logs on and off, and I definitely think that would be nice.

Post 11 by Ok Sure (This site is so "educational") on Friday, 29-Aug-2008 15:31:40

Just curious, can't one simply look at who is signed on to zone, instead of using the quick note feature to do so? My public QNs are always off, and if I want to know who logs in or out I just look at the last few links on the users logged in links. Those links are refreshed whenever the page is refreshed, so if the feature suggested is implemented, you would have the same information displayed twice.

I agree with Ok Sure in the last message. just look at the last few log ins.

But, I will forward this to the admins and other cls for their ideas.

how about those that are in the qn console? no log in list to look at there

Hi, all. I like this suggestion. It is nice to see who signs in and out. Yes, you can look at the last few links, but I do like the little thing that just pops up and tells me when people go in or out. And, I usually prefer to have publics off, so this would be a feature I'd use.

or rat, what about people playing the games. i'm sure they would prefer to consontrate on the game, and not constantly look at the last couple of links. for me anyway, it would be a really useful feature and i finally wouldn't have to keep messages on
